Chippewa Township has four cemeteries, all of which date back to the 1800's.

Chippewa Cemetery (located on Chippewa Drive)

Church Cemetery (located on 90th Ave.)

Sparks Cemetery (located on 80th Ave.)

Eaton Cemetery (located on 20 Mile Rd.)

Chippewa Cemetery on Chippewa Drive is the only cemetery with available plots for sale.


No artifical flowers shall be planted outside of an urn. Any artifical flowers planted outside of an urn will be removed and disposed of. Artifical flowers and decorations may be placed and maintained at the head stone of graves no earlier than May 1st and must be removed, if one wishes to keep them, no later than October 1st. For Holidays falling outside of these dates, decortations are permitted for 3 weeks prior to and 3 weeks following the holiday.


There shall be no snowmobiles, four wheelers, go-karts or similar vehicles within the cemetery, as per Michigan State Law.
